Can Shelter Oil With A Value Of Our Country Can Be A Hope Light Against Antibiotics Resistance Bacteria Infections?
Prof. of the Academy of Veterinary Sciences at Balıkesir University (BAÜN) Dr. Ziya İlhan and Assoc. The study included between Dr. Murad Gürses’s researchers revealed remarkable findings on the antibacterial potential of shallow oil.
Prof. BAÜN academicians Dr. Ziya İlhan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murad Gürses, as well as Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University academicians. Dr. Mehmet Karaca, Prof. Dr. Hasan Altan Akkan, Dr. Öğr. Member Reyda Stylishsoğlu, Dr. Öğr. Murat Bayezit, Öğr. See. Taha Gürsoy, Dr. Yavuz Musabeşeoğlu, Özgür Erkan and Chiefika Musabeşeoğlu “Antibacterial, Synergistic, and Antibiofilm Activities of Liquidambar orientalis Mill. The study titled Essential Oil Against Clinically Relevant narl Pathogens was published in the magazine "Antibiotics" (IF: 5.5; CS: 10.2) in the Q1 scale, the top slice in international journal rankings.
Prof. Dr. Ziya İlhan is one of the mostthomic plant species of our country in research (Liquidambar orientalis Mill.) He expressed that the essential oil on antibacterial, antibiotic and antibiofilm effects on bacteria caused significant infections in human and animals. Prof. who has taken into account that antibiotic resistance is an important public health problem that affects human and animal health as well as environmental ecosystems. Dr. Ziya İlhan stressed the importance of researching natural welded compounds that can increase the effectiveness of existing antibiotics.
Prof., who states that the shallow tree grows naturally in only a few countries in the world, especially in Muğla region Dr. Ziya İlhan noted that shallow oil used in traditional medicine for centuries is a remarkable source of biological active ingredients.
Prof. who transferred the total 24 bacteria strains of 12 different types of bacteria caused significant infections in human and animals under the research. Dr. Ziya İlhan against an important part of the bacteria examined by shallow oil in vitro noted that antibacterial activity shows. 77%.77% of Gram-positive bacteria of shallow oil, Prof., who expresses that Gram negative bacteria have antibacterial effect on 73.33%. Dr. Ziya İlhan, especially Brucella melitensis stressed that the work of high antibacterial activity on it is one of the remarkable results.
Prof. Dr. Ziya İlhan marked that shallow oil has a high level of synergetic effect when used with different antibiotics such as erythromycin, amoxicillin, gentamicin and enrofloksasin, as a result, the findings obtained may be a source from the hope-run in terms of research on the development of natural antibacterial products of shallow oil.
